VIV Analysis

VIV Solutions® staff is highly experienced in VIV analysis.  We utilize SHEAR7 for most VIV studies, along with our own proprietary software and programs.  SHEAR7 was initially championed by VIV Solutions’ president Don Allen and has become the preferred method for evaluating fatigue properties of long slender tubulars in deepwater.  We have performed VIV calculations and suppression coverage exercises for numerous high-profile projects over a period of more than 25 years.
